Are You Going About The Father’s Business, or Your Own?

The real tragedy I see in our nation is the apathy and lukewarm hearts within the churches.

As days grow darker and evil spreads you would think it would drive Christians too their God, to their knees and towards fellowship with others in His body – the Church/churches.

Yet, church attendance is at a low point. This is an indicator that people in churches are too consumed by the things in this world (like hobbies, family, entertainment, money, addictions, etc.) than they are concerned by the Father’s business which Jesus basically said if you are His follower you too will do as He demonstrated for us.

We know this current trend God is using to further separate the sheep, goats and even the wolves. As Jesus tarries, hearts are growing cold towards God and are warming up to the doctrines of this world. How many will be found faithful and going about the Father’s business when He returns?

Far too many have itching ears, and are embracing the woke doctrines of demons. Far too many are too engrained in their lifestyle and selfishness to see the calling He has given to His churches and followers leading up to His return. Far too many that confess Jesus with their mouths, deny Him with their hearts, attitudes and lifestyles. Far too many have a form of godliness, but deny its power. Therefore they go to dead churches (if any), proclaim their ‘fake-faith’, and now are literally able to hide behind a ‘mask’.

There is a spiritual war taking place and authentic, remnant, true followers of Christ are all called to be on the front lines of this confrontation. Yet, so many think it is a political or social war. If you think that, you are carnally and fleshly thinking. There must be prudence in the political and social realms too. But, believers must walk according to the Spirit and not according to the flesh. Too many people and churches are focused and saturated by the spirit of religion and very little transformational power reigns inside their walls of their churches, or in the hearts/lives of their people.

It’s time for a spiritual revolution to occur thru the power of the Gospel. I want to be there! Freedom Community Church wants to be there! Do you and your family?
